Earth Day: Protect our Species!

To celebrate Earth Day we learnt about the plight of the chimpanzees due to Cobalt mining in the Congo and decided to set up a mobile phone recycling station in our community as part of the Jane Goodall Institute campaign http://www.movilizateporlaselva.org/es/. We are happy to know that recycling mobile phones will also help stop the exploitation of children who work in the cobalt mines. We enjoyed listening to African music while we designed the covers for the mobile phone collection box.
