I am a QUALIFIED CLIL TEACHER TRAINER (MEd Teacher Development for CLIL),

a MEMBER of the MEd CLIL TEACHING TEAM at the AUTONOMA UNIVERSITY OF BARCELONA (UAB). I have created and implemented professional development courses for in-service teachers in collaboration with the CATALAN DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION and was invited to speak in their webinar series 'Nous Horitzons en l’Ensenyament i l’Aprenentatge de les Llengües 2025' . I was also a speaker at the Association for Teachers of English in Catalunya (APAC) and TESOL-Spain 2025 events.

My professional development workshops are designed to encourage EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP at primary, secondary and baccalaureate levels, using a CLIL approach and are suitable FOR SCHOOLS AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACADEMIES AROUND THE WORLD.

 

As an ambassador for the #TeachSDGs movement, my mission, in support of SDG 4.7, is to EMPOWER CLIL and EFL TEACHERS around the globe with TOOLS, STRATEGIES and RESOURCES for INTEGRATING the SDGs into their curriculum thereby facilitating the development of the necessary knowledge, skills, language, values and attitudes that young learners need to become active global citizens, and competent in the English language.
