Soc Deborah, tinc 20 anys d'experiència en l’ensenyament de l’ anglès a nens i joves en Catalunya. Soc una ambaixadora oficial del moviment de les Nacions Unides #TeachSDGs, qualificat amb MEd Teacher Development for CLIL, BA (Hons) Development Studies, Trinity Cert. TESOL també acreditat com a 'Woodland Activity Leader' i pionera en 'NatCLIL'. El meu objectiu és educar els nens i joves per al Desenvolupament Sostenible i la Ciutadania Global, utilitzant la llengua anglesa com a eina per entendre el món en què vivim. Mitjançant la participació en experiències d'aprenentatge transformadores amb activitats que fomenten el pensament crític, la resolució de problemes, creativitat i comunicació, la meva missió és ajudar els alumnes a desenvolupar els coneixements, les habilitats, el llenguatge, els valors i les actituds que els permetin actuar i fer del món un lloc millor per a les persones, els animals i el medi ambient.
En el pasat he treballat com a Professora Supervisora del PIPE (Pla Integral de Plurilingüisme Educatiu), com a lideressa d’equip de programes extraescolars per a International House, com a Professora d'angles a l'Escola Oficial d'Idiomes (EOI) i a l'Escola d'art i disseny (edRa), com a examinador de l’expressió oral als exàmens ESOL de la Universidat de Cambridge dels nivells YLE, KET, PET i FCE i com a formadora de docents als centres de preparació dels exàmens de Cambridge. Com a membre de l’equip profesorat MEd CLIL de la Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), ofereixo tallers de formacio CLIL per a professors pre-service i in-service.
Els meus viatges per tot el món i tot el que em van ensenyar són les arrels de la meva passió per l’educació global i intercanvi intercultural. Dissenyo projectes relacionats amb els ODS per a programes d’intercanvi intercultural digital i animo els meus estudiants a participar en projectes d'accio comunitaria ja sigui a nivell local o global amb milers d’alumnes de tot el món. I am Deborah, I have 20 years of experience teaching English to young learners in Catalunya. I am an official ambassador of the global United Nations movement #TeachSDGs, qualified CLIL Educator with a MEd Teacher Development for CLIL, BA Hons Development Studies, Trinity Cert. TESOL. My objective is to educate young learners for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship, using the English language as a tool for understanding the world we live in. By engaging students in transformative learning experiences through activities that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and communication, my mission is to help them develop the knowledge, skills, language, values and attitides that empower them to take action and make the world a better place for people, animals and the environment.

As a member of the MEd CLIL teaching team at the Autonoma University of Barcelona (UAB), I offer CLIL workshops for pre- and in-service teachers.
My travels around the world and everything they have taught me are at the roots of my passion for global education and intercultural exchange. I design SDG related projects for digital intercultural exchange programs and I encourage my students to participate in community action projects whether at the local or global level with thousands of students all around the world.
