Assessment: Why are forests important?

Today we revised the 'Top Ten Fantastic Forest Facts' that we learnt during the last class and watched a video to consolidate our learning of reasons why trees are important.

We completed the assessment worksheet and designed a logo for International Day of the Forest. Although the ss had some great ideas they found it difficult to complete the sentences in writing without a more solid framework to help with sentence structure which the teacher later provided on the board.
